Two-Day Workshop on Geometric Analysis

We will host a two-day workshop on geometric analysis on 3-4 July, 2025. Juncheng Wei (Chinese University of Hong Kong) will give a colloquium and we will feature additional lectures by Joâo Henrique Andrade (University of Sâo Paulo), Azahara DelaTorre (Sapienza Universìta di Roma), Tobias König (Goethe Universität Frankfurt am Main), Jonas Peteranderl (Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München) and Guofang Wang (Albert-Ludwig-Universität Freiburg). The Thursday lectures will take place at Emil-Fischer-Str. 41 in Würzburg and the Friday lectures will take place at Emil-Fischer-Str. 40 in Würzburg.

• 3 July, 9:00: Tobias König: Stability with explicit constants for reverse Sobolev inequalities on the sphere

• 3 July, 12:00: Azahara DelaTorre, Nondegeneracy of the bubble in a fractional and singular 1D Liouville equation

• 3 July, 14:15: Juncheng Wei: A complete solution to Brezis' open question 1.1

• 3 July, 16:00: Guofang Wang, A new Yamabe problem

• 4 July, 9:30: Jonas Peteranderl, The sharp sigma2-curvature inequality on the sphere in quantitative form

• 4 July 11:00: João Henrique Andrade, Geometry from diffuse interfaces: A PDE approach to isoperimetric clusters
